Hi, I am curious about tarot, Im familiar with other kinds of magic but I was wonderingIf I wanted to get into it Is there an specific drenk I should buy? Is there specific spread I should go over as a beginner? Do you have tags that could help me?
I’m guessing “drenk” was supposed to be “deck” and the answer is: whatever appeals to you the most. Find a deck: Tarot, oracle, lenormand (which I don’t know much about, ask queenofchalices) that speaks to you and you find interesting. There is no Perfect starter deck. Some decks are more complicated, some are simple.There are lots of different ways to read the cards. Some use intuition, others use the default meanings (LWB, booklet that comes with the deck), some a mixture.As to spreads, it’s easier to start with a simple 3 card spread (past, present, future) and work your way into more complicated spreads.I am working on tagging my posts, especially now that I’ve gotten such a huge influx of followers. Unfortunately, this is a strictly SPREADS blog, so you won’t find many pointers or tips.For that I suggest following diviner blogs such as Queenie (previously mentioned), swampseer, arcanemysteries, constantine-spiritworker, shelby-melissa, ragabashwitch, and about a hundred or so others. This will give you a wide variety and mixture of ideas on how to start.
