back with more traditional art I only work on during boring meetings let's goo. the idea behind this one is pretty unexciting since we all know Danny is lame enough to dress up as a ghost for Halloween while actually being a ghost and what no this isn't just a way to get out of drawing actual anatomy idk what you're talking about (I had a vision okay)

for whatever reason I decided to try adding the colors on (used a Sharpies variety pack, with dollar store highlighters for extra flare and bad shading attempt) before the outlines (black Sharpie) just as a bit of an experiment. not really sure why but it was interesting to try ig even if the results are a bit choppy

I think this unironically looked better without the lines which is interesting, considering unreasonably thick lines bordering abominably badly proportioned blobs with flat colors and nonexistent shading is, like, my thing. nah but I just did a ridiculously bad job trying to outline this stuff and it definitely shows gfhkjfg

and as per usual I captured my progression because I knew I'd end up messing the whole thing up. this is why my usual drawing source is an animation app; I just copy the frames and then butcher stuff up knowing I can go back and fix it when I really mess up. where is my irl control + z chat

speaking of mistakes this is what the other side of the page looks like now (compare to how this looked the other week). this is why I don't do traditional art (I say as I intend to continue doing traditional art for a bit)
