Generally speaking if you ghost me/stop talking to me randomly without explanation I will take some offense to that. Yes yes I know we have busy lives but. I’ve been ignored most of my life. I’ve ALWAYS had to be the one to instigate conversations because no one ever cared about me enough to seek me out. Ofc that’s different now and I have friends who are better but. Yeah.

if mfs have it set in their mind that youre the bad guy, theres no amount of information that is gon change their mind. to not engage with people of those types is the only option.

Why R U? The Series: Please Show Understanding During the Pandemic.

I’m sure with TV productions being shutdown or put on hiatus for the global COVID-19 pandemic. Things will be difficult for the productions to put out all the scenes and story that they would want.

Let’s celebrate what story we do get to enjoy!

I hope they can finish the series well and give great endings for all of the characters.

I’m just really hoping fans can show understanding during these difficult times.

Okay but actually this is important

Never ever ever ask a trans person what their "real" name is, it's disrespectful and invalidates them as the identity they truly are.

However, if you'd like to know what their name before transitioning was, you ask for their deadname, and very politely.

They are fully allowed to decline and that is entirely valid, they may have some sort of trauma attached to that name or it may just make them uncomfortable to say it. Respect that and leave them be if they say no.

Again, they are fully allowed to decline. Don't bother them about it if they do.

If they do tell you their deadname, do not, under any circumstances, use it to refer to them.

It is upsetting for them and you just broke their trust by doing that. Don't.

Please use proper pronouns for people- they/them is a safe place to start and if you're unsure you can always ask. Don't be scared about it- a polite "Excuse me, what pronouns do you use?" works just fine. Most trans people quite appreciate you asking for their preferred pronouns and will gladly answer you.

Again, please ask someone's preferred pronouns before assuming what they use. They/them is perfectly fine to use before you clear it up.

I may not be trans, but these are definitely problems I've seen my friends who are trans face almost daily, and it's not fair to them at all. I can see the pain it causes them when their identity is not respected. Use their real names, not their deadnames, don't refer to their deadnames as "real" names, and always ask pronouns before assuming they use male/female ones.

Any trans person is welcome to add more notes to this list but I feel this needed to be said. Not just a post on "Stop misgendering us!!!" and "Stop being transphobic!!!!" but how to fix these issues. Most people don't even realize that they are misgendering you and/or being transphobic, so we need to be patient and not give them a negative impression of trans people by drilling the pain of their mistakes into their heads. How can we fix it? That's the question.

my favourite thing about the new Mark livestream is how everyone it screaming about him ignoring the masks but like

the point he made before it was along the lines ‘not explaining things because it ruins/spoils things later on’ and that he puts things in the videos that tease the next one

so this c l e a r y means the masks will be part of videos later down the track right? And knowing Mark it’s going to be surprising and a buncha bullshit that we dont want explained rn tbh

and it could have been much worse
