Thinks about the fact that people in the isat universe, or at the very least siffrin and mirabelle (and I wouldn't be surprised if it was others too considering the complete lack of surprise/comment on the ability) can just like . . . literally feel the presence of people they can't see, and can sometimes even pinpoint it as a specific person if they know them.

general reminder to the mcyt fandom, because this keeps happening:

stop whitewashing characters of colour.

i don't care if this is part of your artstyle (which. it really shouldn't be in the first place, artstyle doesn't excuse whitewashing)

i don't care if you don't know how to shade darker skintones — there are plenty of resources nowadays for that, there is no excuse.

i also don't care if you're unable to draw certain facial features — you can draw poc in any artstyle (including very styalized/anime ones!!) without being disrespectful.

there are plenty of tutorials and guides to help you, and even more so people who are willing to help you improve, go look them up and/or start asking. we cannot keep excusing blatant racism and whitewashing (which isn't just skintone btw! it includes facial features, hair, clothing, culture, etc.) in the year 2026.
