after everything that’s happened today, i just want to tell everyone to take care of themselves, and be careful of misinformation. 

aka don’t use koreaboo, allkpop, netizenbuzz, or similar sources. 

we all know how messed up koreaboo is so I don’t think I need to go much in detail there. they have little concern over what they publish, as long as it earns them clicks. clickbait, recycled articles, unnecessary articles for more clickbait, sensationalization of topics such as suicide, terrible reporting, unprofessionalism all reign supreme there. 

allkpop has lost its tiny bit of journalistic integrity. ailee’s nude scandal has largely been forgotten, but here’s a friendly reminder that akp apparently thinks creating hurtful news=“journalism”, despite the fact that everything else points towards revenge porn in the situation. and if you’re (or were) an avid reader of their news, you’ll know the amount of clickbait some writers, like jenny, are making. gotta grab that money y’know.

netizenbuzz is another breeding ground of toxicity so i think it’s common sense not to go there for info. same with asian junkie and a few other sites that i’m likely forgetting. 

TL;DR: what’s happening is devastating, and misinformation will be spread. please do everyone a favour and don’t be one of those people who propagate it. read official news only, and please don’t spread rumours or speculation. spreading them can be really harmful

please take care of yourselves too. take a nap, drink some tea. take a walk outside. go on a studio ghibli marathon. go on a coffee break with a friend. things like this hurt, even if it isn’t as pronounced. 

to all her fans who tried to protect her after may and october: don’t blame yourselves. you did your best, and that’s ultimately the most you can do. give it your all.

i’m referring to all the instagram pages posting screenshots of kboo’s article on sulli, and how they discussed the method and everything. none of that information was released, and the fact that they didn’t even bother putting trigger warnings wasn’t only disrespectful, it was dangerous to fans who were even more susceptible due to the nature of the news

i think the biggest glitch in the kpop matrix in recent years is when exid and winner both came back on the same day (190515) with albums with the same name (WE) and winner’s title track was called ‘ah yeah’... which is the name of one of exid’s older title tracks. like. how did that happen. did they talk it out or
