net neutrality
you’ve probably seen so many posts about this already, so i’ll try to keep it short.
if you need the Cliffsnotes version of net neutrality, it basically stops large companies (think Verizon, AT&T, etc.) from discriminating against/charging for certain kinds of internet content. you can probably already see how this would be bad for consumers like us; as a broke high school student, i really don’t want to have to pay for internet.
the vote about net neutrality is on december 14th. if you can, please contact your representative about this issue. after all, how can they represent you correctly if they don’t even know what you think?
here is a link to a petition for net neutrality: https://www.change.org/p/save-net-neutrality-netneutrality/u/20791888
