Me thinking about a Bloodymary Hanahaki fic, maybe on the rocks because fuck it why not, he loves those rocks, where Simon is sick, but neither Simon or Grace realize that's what it is.
They think it's part of Simon's mutations
They're doing everything they can to figure out what is triggering this new change in his biology, enlisting the help of Eridian scientists, just trying to figure out if they can stop it, neither one realizing at all. The closeness and all the time spent together trying to figure it out making it worse- Simon being so touched that Grace, Rocky, and Adrian all care about him that much that it's just getting worse and worse every day. But he doesn't KNOW that- neither of them do.
They start to think maybe it's Grace causing it or maybe his body was triggered by the Xenonite on Rocky and Adrian and the fucking walls their house is built out of, but when they move to isolate him it ALSO makes it worse because he misses them and he's lonely.
And they still don't know that and they still can't figure it out
And - and I want -- i don't want him coughing up flowers --- that man is spitting up maple tree seeds and leaves and chunks of bark when it gets really bad.
I want him to be choking on a TREE, do you understand me
I don't care if the ending is happy or sad- I want Simon coughing up maple seeds, thinking it's because of the blood moon, but it's NOT and they don't KNOW do you see my vision somebody hear me
