Morning coffee with breakfast. Felt great. :) worked a short day and came home at lunch. Was so proud I didn’t have my usual 240mg cortado at work.
1pm. Sat down to read a book and PASSED OUT. Husband had difficulty rousing me, I could not keep my eyes open but forced myself to get up to go meet a friend.
3pm. Met friend. Had trouble finishing sentences and maintaining my train of thought. No longer so much sleepy as a little disoriented. So this is what they mean when they say people with ADHD use caffeine to self-medicate.
It’s now 6pm and I’ve had a migraine just sneaking up on me for about an hour. Not actually bad yet. Trying to decide if I’ll be better off having an actual pain reliever or just… another coffee.
