There are only two payphones left in San Fransokyo, perhaps overlooked by the steady march of progress, or perhaps protected by some city ordinance that prevents them from being removed and scrapped like every other payphone in the city. For once, she has to curse the way her own company has helped modernize the city, because this one takes her an eternity to find.
Has to be a payphone, though. If they find out she’s making this call she’ll be dead before morning, and she knows for a fact her personal phone is being monitored.
She dials the number and lets the phone ring, hoping to whatever god might be listening he has the good sense to pick up.
“Tadashi Hamada?”

The train sputtered along the track slowly as it traversed through the city, almost crammed packed with people. The only free seat in the entire car was next to a small boy.
There wasn't anything particularly odd about him at first glance , but if one took the took the time to look, they would notice more unusual features about him.
He looked about eleven, maybe twelve. He had a rather thinly built frame of a body and had startling pale skin. It wasn't a sickly looking pale, more like he had spent his entire life without ever going outside. In fact, he even had a very defined musty smell that hung about him, similar to that found inside a neglected attic.
He wore a very lose looking sized navel hoodie along with some worn out jeans that look one size to large on him. They bunched up at bottom, partially covering heavy work boots. Strains of stark white hair poked out from underneath a simple black baseball cap pulled low over his eyes which, despite the heavy over cast for the day, where adorned with thick, dark sunglasses.
In his hands, the boy held an ancient looking rupsack that he clutched firmly to his chest as if fearing it would be yanked out of his hand at any moment. And on top of it all, he appeared to be traveling alone. Quite unusal for someone his age in a large city like this.
However, despite his very abnormal appearance, nobody seemed to pay the kid any frame of mind, and neither did he. Instead, the boy was looking over his shoulder and out the window. He craned his neck, gawking at sky above with his mouth mouth hung open in awe. Total bewilderment held his expression. It was almost as if he had never seen the sky before.
He seemed far too engrossed by his 'sky gazing' that he never even noticed as someone sat down in the vacant seat next to him.
