I was standing in my bathroom.

Cleaning my overnight braces in the solution, drooling on the floortiles as i stood open mouthed in front of the mirror trying to get rid of a pimple that somehow lodged itself into my eyebrows... I just could not be arsed to close my jaw or get a tissue.

One singular thought ran through my mind:

Why does nothing work the way it should?

And an instant answer followed:

Because it is 4 in the goddamn morning.
