Since I mentioned both losing my old dog and that I practice Hellenism here I thought I would share some news!
I got a new dog yesterday. Her name is Lily and she's a French Bulldog.
Absolutely insane blessing from Hecate (one of the main gods I worship) giving us a black dog (her sacred animal) during the Hellenistic days of worship (Hecate's day is technically the new moon but it goes on for 8 days after) on the solstice

Hermes, Hecate, Artemis and Aphrodite are here. Athena is on my bookshelf, Hestia in the kitchen, and Hypnos by our bed. (There's an offering at Hecate's right now in this photo because of everything) I want to get an Apollo one going soon. I also have a lot of stuff dedicated to my tribe's spirits too.

I don't think this was sent by anyone here as I assume people would just use tumblr asks for it, but just in case I'll post my answer here as well.
I don't go by Baoyu. At all. I am really lost.
I do have an introject but I make it very clear that's an introject/fictive and we don't use the name outside of that.
It just feels like people don't seem to know what DID is or perhaps I have gotten much too comfortable with being open about my system.
Regardless, I will be removing the publicly available information from my carrd and links to my other blogs. This is a misunderstanding I don't want to happen again. Being accused of somehow appropriating a culture is something I take very seriously. I am always trying to be open minded and learn things, especially given I grew up on a reservation and had very little access to outside cultures. I am very sheltered and I try and go out of my way now to learn so I can be a better person!
However this... is strange to me. Am I missing something? I literally only have the name Baoyu listed in my system information. And it clearly says she's a fictive? It's just talking about her source. That is not the name she uses when fronting. It's what I sometimes call her or other people do because, again, she is an introject.
But I have removed all links to my system and other blogs as this made me really uncomfortable. People are welcome to ask me about my system or other blogs but I will not have them in my carrd or pinned.
