One thing I hate absolutely about internet spaces is that, particularly YouTube Shorts, and also in real life, especially high school systems, is that studying is vilified.
If you are dedicated to studies, if you finish your homework, if you complete your assignment on time, if you prepare for your test, if you are serious about your career, congrats! You're now an absolutely vile human being who deserves to be excluded, called names behind their back. The 'topper' is suddenly a derogatory term. You are nothing but a teacher's pet (derogatory). You don't have a life outside studies, you are boring, you can't have fun.
And I thing this really needs to stop. Studying is hard, but surviving without a sustainance is harder. People who are trying to create their means of sustainance are trying hard too. They are trying, they are sacrificing their time and efforts too. They do have hobbies they indulge in, some people have to get their work in the school hours because they have other responsibilities at home. They deserve to be treated with kindness, everyone does.
