A new Start - Again
So I had my wake up call over the weekend with my terrible race and I had my emotions. We still had a blast that day, we still hiked and laughed and made love on a glacier and we both re-affirmed our goals, for ourselves and for ourselves as a couple.
This new beginning began yesterday with a 6+ mile hike with our puppies. I felt like I’m ready to get my training back up to where it should have been Saturday, and then go beyond! I’m beginning my C210K all over tomorrow. It’s a bit below where I am conditioning wise, but I feel like I need to work on my foundation and make it much stronger. I’m re-committing to daily core workouts and I’m choosing more difficult mountain bike trails to ride, instead of keeping to the easy trails or inside on the trainer. I have a lot of technical skills to learn and need to gain some strength on hill climbs. As far as swimming - just keep swimming... At least that part of my race went well ;)
