Reminder that there's real people behind the masks of the character they roleplay! This is extremely hateful and uncalled for. I'm a real person, with real feelings. My roleplaying Hawks is an act, and I'm aware he might be OOC, as I'm not Horikoshi, I didn't make this character.

If you don't like the way a person roleplays, just block the account, problem solved. Don't discourage them from doing something they enjoy doing because you believe it to be 'cringe'.

Omnic crisis started 30 years ago and ended 20 years go, give or take. Overwatch has been disbanded for 5 years. Fareeha Amari is currently 32. That makes her 27 at the time Overwatch disbands, 12 when the Omnic Crisis ends. From age 12-ish to 18, she would have been in headquarters, leaving at 18-ish to join the Egyptian military.

So here's my question, assuming that this timeline is accurate.

You're Angela Ziegler. From age 17-ish to 23, you watch this teen girl grow up in headquarters. Teen leaves, heads to the army, then to a private security job. Maybe you keep in touch, maybe you don't. Anyway, you meet back up. You're 37. And this kid aint a kid no more. She's an amazing 32 year old woman.

How fucking awkward would it be if there was an attraction there? Is this a matter of age difference? I cannot imagine Angela being attracted to teenage Fareeha. At what point does "oh hey its that cute teen I watched grow up" turn into "oh no she's hot"?

Put another way, here's the issue. McCree and Ziegler are literally the exact same age. And I see Jesse's relationship with Pharah as like an older brother thing, so why would the relationship between Angela and Fareeha be any different?

And this is why I dunno if I ship Pharmercy or not. Don't get me wrong, I will rp 30-something Pharmercy without hesitation. But oh wow. That's gonna be an awkward conversation Angela has to have with herself.
