I know it’s late February because pictures like this break my heart a little:
The melting continues here. Went out to look around the yard this morning. It looks like another grey day here.
This is how it looks over by the lilacs. I found a long cylindrical bird feeder out in the snow bank. I wonder which of my neighbors is missing a feeder, thanks to the hurricane winds out here. 😂
Took a walk farther out to the edge of the field.
Here is how things look from there. The next couple days is supposed to be the prime time for pruning fruit trees and I need to trim two branches on my apple trees that are starting to get in my way when I mow the yard.
We are still about seven weeks away from any yard waste being picked up so branches will just go in a pile.
