ANNOUNCEMENT

so...I will be taking a break from posting TFC content because i'm working on a visual novel game called SweetLand.

SweetLand is a visual novel that blends cute aesthetics, mystery, and psychological horror. Inspired by Welcome Home and The Amazing Digital Circus.

On the surface, it’s a bright, candy-themed world filled with cheerful characters and pastel scenery.

But underneath…

Something is very wrong.

“A cute cartoon world… that slowly reveals itself to be something else.”

Synopsis:

You’ve just moved into a quiet, old house—once home to a forgotten cartoon studio.

While unpacking, you discover a dusty VHS tape

Curiosity gets the better of you.

You press play.

And then—

Everything goes black.

When you wake up, you’re no longer in your house.

You’re in SweetLand.

but no, it's not finished yet...I'm still working on the script. Once it's done I will start drawing the (animated) sprites and background.

Can we talk about how refreshing, on The Pitt, Melissa "Mel" King is as a character? She is the neurodivergent representation I've been longing for in the longest time. While her own diagnosis is up for the interpretation, she still is one of the good ones. The actress does also pool into her own adhd as inspiration for the role.
