I think it was really important that Sylvia gave the moral this time, not Wander. Sylvia isn't as 'nice' as Wander, so I've always thought that she should be the one to cut through all the bs and tell people exactly what they need to hear, rather than what they want to hear. I also get the feeling she's been on the receiving end of the situation the Black Cube was going through, so she empathized with them more. I think that it's also important to note that Sylvia had a different approach than Wander did and in the end it was more effective than his method. While Wander's cheering up methods were in the right place and they definitely helped some, not everyone wants to be cheered up. Sometimes, they just need an empathetic and listening ear.
