Steve locked up his tiny Studio apartment, listening to the key click before bounding for the stairs. Sure, the building had an elevator, but Steve wasn't quite ready for those. It was about 7:30, as his cellular device said. He still wasn't sure how they worked. He opened the door the the building and stepped out onto the nice, quiet street before stepping into a taxi. The cab driver drove him over the bridge, into the bustling world of New York City. After paying for the drive, he stepped onto the street and started walking. Steve mostly kept his head down while walking the streets of New York. Probably because it was so different now. With his plaid shirt tucked into his khaki pants, he turned down a street and ducked into the doorway of the Pouring Ribbons bar. He'd walked past it before with Bucky, but that was behind him now. Looking around, he scouted for an empty seat.
