Vovochka
The evening was cool and damp, a mist had risen over Noxus in the rare event the weather turned to rain. The summer had been hot and the cool months were setting in with steeply dipping temperatures during the night and storms from the ocean.
It was a perfect night for some cozy cuddling. If she could find her brother. “Vovochka!” Her warm, sultry voice echoed through the halls of the mansion, inquisitive and beckoning at first, then dissolving into frustration as she kept calling him with no answer in return. She could not find hide nor hair of the bastard and she bit her lip in annoyance, drawing a dark bead of blood. With a tisk and a flip of her fine pale hair, she swept the corners of the many halls and rooms with unnatural swiftness.
The tang of blood in the air alerted her to his whereabouts, finally. She scented the trail all the way to an elaborate bathroom built in a long bygone era in Noxus’ history yet kept in pristine condition by the hemomancers. She could tell it was not just her brother’s blood in the air, or rather that it would soon become part of his blood.
“Volodya, there you are. I’ve been looking for you, you did not respond to my calls. What have you been doing without me?” She asked with a pout in her voice. She was tall and thin with a dancer’s grace as she stepped towards the red stained tub. Long pale hair was brushed aside as she bent over someone, and red eyes peered at the woman, feeling a hot sensation at the sight of bodies and blood splattered on the tiles.
An elegant finger brushed the woman’s lip, interrupting the line of blood that had trickled from her mouth. She put the finger in her mouth and savored the copper tang on her tongue before addressing the tub again. “Was she fun at least?” She asked, a purr in her tone as she drew up to the edge, leaning with her hands on the rim. “Tell me, what are we to do if you keep killing the help?”
It wasn’t a serious question, but she liked teasing her brother now and then for his gluttony. A sin she was just as susceptible to as he was, and they both knew it.

The knock on his door is imperious, demanding; not the usual tentative tap filled with fear or trepidation, or even awe. No, it’s loud, and echoing, and expectant, with all the thoughtless self-confidence any rightful ruler carries.
Sure enough, once the door opens green eyes glimmer up at him, and an impatient hand shoos fluttering servants away from around her, and Cassiopeia greets him with a perfect crimson smile.
“Godfather,” she begins, only stopping to shoot the maid tugging at her skirts to drag her back a venomous glare. The girl (unsurprisingly) wilts near-instantly in the face of the youngest Du Couteau’s concentrated ire, caustic and piercing as it is. “ - I have a proposition for you. I think you’ll like it.”
Black-lacquered nails flutter, and an elaborate little fan covers the nasty little smirk they both know is spreading across her face as all her attendees turn pale in the background. “It is nearly time for me to be presented to court, you know, and I’d really much prefer it if my dearest darling godfather were my escort on my sixteenth birthday. I’m rather tired of all the disgusting boys my age, and the girls aren’t much better.”
I’m going to have you in the end, you know.
A single brow quirks at him, expectant, and the silk fan flickers shut, leaving that smug smile in view for him and him alone. “You know how much I’d hate to be the source of some sort of aristocratic scandal.”
Heartstrings
“We should probably get the General...” A solemn Noxian soldier said to his fellows and one of them nodded and left the huddle to retrieve their general. Sona was frowning, but trying to appear innocent as she could. She wished they would untie her hands already so she could try to communicate, but none of them seemed familiar with her condition. At least that man finally realized something was amiss and took action rather than do more than try to intimidate her verbally. Sona hoped that their general would be more understanding of her position.
It had been a busy day. She had been planning for this performance for quite some time. The location was in a remote region, beyond Demacian boarders in peaceful lands. Rather, what used to be peaceful and neutral territory. The nobles and dignitaries of the surrounding areas had gathered to meet and wished for the famous Sona and her etwahl to be their main entertainment. However, while they were gathered, and perhaps because they were gathered, the power of the region had shifted hands.
Sona was completely unaware of the shift in power, as many others were, until the Noxian soldiers stormed the building. It wasn’t a terribly hostile take over considering the notorious aggression Noxus was known for if a nation did not comply. The soldiers made their presence known, gathered the guests and nobles into the main hall so no one could escape and hear the news they bore. The guests were rightfully tense and confused until one of the Noxian’s gave them all a speech of declaration. Even after the speech, most were still uneasy.
All the guests were to be interrogated and screened, and either let go or what else, Sona was unsure of. She had been sitting in the little office, the finery in the mansion office had been pushed aside, the furniture rearranged to suit their needs. Her hands were tied to the arms of the chair, which she understood, but that didn’t help her tell them the answers to their questions.
The soldiers became increasingly frustrated when she could not answer them, and Sona tried her best to tell them she could not speak for over an hour. It felt like eons to her, and imagine her relief when the man suggested to get someone else. They heard footsteps outside the makeshift interrogation room and the soldiers stood at attention to great their general.
