Hey! Sorry if this is a bit of an invasive question, but how much do you get paid per hour at B&N (like do they start you off @ minimum wage?)? And how many hours do you get per week? I applied to a B&N about a week ago and I’m curious about these things; tbh the hours and the price are what’s going to determine if I take the job, because I need $$ and I need at least close to 40hrs ^___^ thanks for any info you can give!

It’s not too invasive lol, starting salaries and stuff for jobs is public knowledge anyway! ^^ Idk what the starting salary for the other positions (like cafe) are, but if you applied for a bookselling position, it starts around $9.15/hr! Which is a dollar or two above minimum wage, which is good! But most (if not all) starting positions are part-time, which means you get about 20 hrs/week, sometimes more or less depending on the time of year! 

40 hrs/week would be a full-time position, which you could apply for now if there’s one available, but you’d be most likely to be hired full-time after starting at a part-time position for a while and working your way up! But if you have a lot of previous experience with related things (a lot of volunteer hours at the library, lots of retail experience at a previous job, etc), it’s technically possible to be considered for a full-time position without starting as part-time! At the least, it would be worth a shot!

(Or you could do what I’m currently working and work 2 jobs to total 40 hours/week while you wait for a full-time position to open at your preferred job, which is Terrible and Sucks The Life Out Of You, but it’s an option if you really have to, haha ^^;; )

This is extremely unusual for me, but I actually wrote this one in chronological order. So the first scene is the first thing I ever wrote down.

3) What’s your favorite line of narration?

Ah, I don’t know. I don’t have a particular line I like. I guess I like the final scene best, though, if that helps.

9) Were there any alternate versions of this fic?

Nope, not for this one!

11) What do you like best about this fic?

I actually kind of like how I worked this into the plot of S2, so it was conceivable that this could have been happening behind the scenes and we wouldn’t have known.
