where do dreams come from? / asked a little star. they come / from your unfinished thoughts. dreams come from all of / the daydreams we leave floating / towards the pale clouds dreams come from the soft / words left dancing on the tip / of your tongue, tragic darling little star, / dreams come from what you wish for / but do not act on dreams are precious things / but if you love them, do not / let them remain dreams
“where do dreams come from” - asked by @hraewordsmith
Kirk/Bones a kiss on a place of insecurity, please? :D
Thanks for the prompt!

Jim tugged at the fabric, testing it with a frown. It wouldn’t tear easily–Starfleet uniforms were purposely designed not to. Instead, he produced a tiny pair of sharp scissors from the med kit and began cutting the material.
“Brand-new uniform, too,” Leonard muttered, his voice tight with pain. “Quartermaster’s gonna kill me.”
Prompt: “I’m not going to leave. I’ll stay as long as you need me to.” any ship!
Prompt comes from this meme and was sent to me by @marcceh. Disclaimer that it’s been a while since I’ve seen Star Trek: Into Darkness. (Also this is completely unedited and I apologize for how unpolished it is, but otherwise I’d never finish any of these ask box prompts). :)

He hates the way this place smells, because it smells like nothing. The air is noticeably odorless, Starfleet Medical trying far too hard to make sure it doesn’t smell like a hospital, thus calling more attention to itself in the process. Jim shifts on the bed, looking for and failing to find a comfortable position to sleep in. Not that he’s done any of that since waking from his two-week coma, and once again the thought crosses his mind: Is Khan’s blood doing this to me?
@marcceh said: I know your Sherlock stories were done a while back, but do you have a favorite? Which was the most difficult?
Oof. Okay, I know that I always answer The Fall of Gods for questions like this (or its sequel), because it is my favorite and also the one that was the most difficult for me to write. So! If I rule out Fall of Gods, then I would have to say that either Living Witness or Memory were hardest to write, but also are two of my favorites.
@exquisitely-fandroid asked: Yes! Imp, please: 6, 7, 19
(making a text post out of this Ask so I can put the GIF in there) :)
6: Search for the word “dream” in your WIP. If you find it, paste the line and explain the context.
“He hadn’t had that dream in years, not since - well, best not to think about that right now.”
Okay, so, in pre-Voyager days, while Chakotay was in the Maquis, he and Lore crossed paths and sort of became hate-fuck-buddies-with-complicated-feelings and this is a scene of Chakotay waking up on Lore’s ship and really that’s the most succinct way I can describe this ridiculous ‘verse I’ve invented. :-P
7: What are you most proud of?
Welp, that’s a broad question! If we’re talking fics, then Fall of Gods or Age of Silver are probably the fics I’m most proud of (both Sherlock fics). If we’re talking all writing in general, well, I’m proud of this manuscript that I’m trying to get published :)
19: Post a picture or gif that describes your WIP.
Your fave vicklock fic! Go!
Oh, jeez. It’s been… three years since I’ve read Viclock? Longer? Anyway, I couldn’t possibly pick just one, so have all my bookmarked S/V fics instead!
evawrites replied to your post: Listen, I want you all to swear to me (if I ever...
fine, i’ll write fluff AND crack.
now wait just a hot darn minute there
