If you are following along, you know I am on a crown of thorns (Euohorbia milii) kick over here. I have quite a few and showed you a very large one on my stories last week. There are also some very tiny ones that are a bit more manageable for a windowsill. Here is a picture of the different sizes of flowers 🌸 with a penny thrown in for size. The second is a penny next to a cluster of the bracts. These flower bracts can be less than 1/4" wide to 2" wide on my larger plants. I also have one with yellow flowers but it isn't blooming right now. These are amazing plants, spines and all. I love 💚 all euphorbias, but especially the crown of thorns. I have a few different varieties, but this Euphorbia milii 'Cherry Cobbler' 🍒 is especially striking! Look at that color! Though they do have spines crown of thorns are not cacti, but succulents.They have stipular spines which have no areole around them that would classify them as a cactus. Still wicked and I've been impaled more than once! 😬 I'll show you some more in the next few days as they are blooming in the sunroom now.
