you mean the missing thumb thing?
No I mean how it's said that his hands are representing his initials in sign language: his left hand signing the letter A and the right hand signing the letter L. No one is sure whether the sculptor intended that.
People also say that the hands symbolize two of Lincoln's qualities. One of his hands is clenched in a fist to symbolize his strength and determination, and the other hand is open and relaxed to show his soft heart and kind nature.
I like both legends, though they might not be true.

now i’m imagining the lincoln assassination going horibly wrong and rendering abraham immortal and i’m LAUGHIHNG SO HARD HELP
No but what if this happens: Booth shoots Lincoln at Ford's and Lincoln collapses in his seat. A doctor rushes over to the president's box and checks on him. Other doctors rush to the scene soon after.
At this point Mary is hysterical and she's like, "Can he be saved?" The first doctor goes, "I don't know, something weird is going on with his vital signs..." Then he goes, "What the...?"
Because just then Lincoln comes back into consciousness and springs up from his spot on the floor. The doctor asks, "Oh my god sir, are you all right? We thought you were a goner!"
Lincoln: "Oh no the bullet didn't kill me. I just leveled up."
Mary is all like "What?"
Lincoln: "Don't ya get it? The bullet did something weird in my brain and I'm immortal now. You all have to call me Abraham the White now."
Idk this just came to my mind

there would probably be this special place for him though like there would be the president, vice president, secretary, &c. &c. &c. and then there would be lincoln
Yeah he would just be chilling around in the capital as some wise counselor and when the president or someone needs advice they'll go to him and ask whether they're doing well or messing shit up.
