Well I'm not allergic to Carl, but my retirement plan of starting a cockroach farm is dead. I'm glad we don't have a roach problem here. One of the grasses I am strongly allergic to is grown in our area as a crop (for seed and as hay), so I'm assuming that's the issue I'm having. I'm glad I'm not allergic to him, but I will just go ahead and say he's not the cat I wanted. He's not cuddly, he's demanding and way too energetic--almost manic sometimes. I know this is a very hippy thing to say, but I AM a Unitarian, so I'll say it: He may not be the cat I wanted, but I'm going to trust that he's the cat I need. If he stops biting me in the leg I will appreciate it, Universe.
