Hybrid Oden

Bakabon held his briefcase to his chest as he made his way down the grass, headed down towards where a certain Oden Cart was set up. It had been raining, the grass was slippery, but he held his firm footing despite wearing his geta tonight. He huffed a little as he finally leaped free of the grass to land on the ground, turning his head to look up from where he’d just traversed. 

Pretty good considering he hadn’t slipped over himself like he had in the past. 

Briefcase now in one hand he began to walk towards the cart, raising his arm in greeting already. It didn’t have any customers so far, which was both good and bad. Bad meaning Chibita-san had no customers buying his food, but good in the way that meant the two could talk without having to worry about others around them.

“Chibita-san!” Bakabon called out as he lifted back one of the flaps on the cart, ducking his head a little to peer under it. “Hai hai.” he greeted, grinning widely. “Long time no see!”

He always said that. Even if he’d just seen Chibita-san the day before. It was always ‘Long time no see’.

Non-matsus and their Stands

Reel Big Fish is, unsurprisingly, the name of Totoko’s Stand. It takes the form of a school of tiny, brightly colored fish, that swim around her in the air. She can manipulate the shape of the school and the flow of how they move; if they bunch together, they can carry her as if she’s flying! She can have them act as a distraction, a weapon, or just as mindless background decoration for her. The range of this Stand is roughly a cube, 3m per side, and looks like she’s surrounded by a room-sized aquarium when she activates it. Iyami’s Stand has given him an ability to manipulate waves of electrical energy, but whenever he uses it, it seems to sap away at his own luck. Hence, he refers to it as the Electric Mayhem, and only wields this power in critical, life or death situations. The waves extend out at a distance proportional to the strength of the energy emitted, but again, the more power he uses, the worse off he ends up afterwards! (It works rather like the attacks he used in the Final Sheeeeeh episode.) Ever wonder how Hatabou’s employees are so damn loyal? That’s the effect of his Stand, Black Flag. It causes those around him to become highly impressionable and willing to take his word as law. Those that Hatabou selects as inner circle are implanted with the mini-flags, which create a psychic link, and allows him to more closely control their actions. The effect can be broken by him being inattentive, though. While it has no physical representation aside from the flags, this Stand can allow Hatabou to wield an impressive army of mind-controlled humans. Chibita’s stand is located next to the park and is open six days a week, from 2-10 pm. It serves piping hot bowls of the best oden you’ve ever tasted. It has recently started accepting payment cards, so if you’re low on cash, you can still stop by for a quick meal. That having been said, Chibita's Stand, Golden Brown, allows him to wield heat as a weapon! With his stand, he can change or stabilize the temperature of an object or area, or manipulate balls of super-heated air to throw as a weapon (up to ten meters). However, he usually uses his Stand to help keep his stand warm so the oden is always hot.

Character in general: i love this lil peanut. honestly i’m always trying to pick out what exactly he’s saying in japanese when he says “dammit, idjit, blah blah” cause it always sounds different somehow? hah. but yeah he’s a cutie, and aside from his shenanigans with iyams and his above average temper, he’s just a ball of sunshine who deserves all the love and happiness. How they play them: man. they. are such a great chibita. basically the oden master himself. i have a rule where i can’t allow myself to publicly pick favorites but.. yeah. i’m just gonna say that. The Mun: haven’t talked a whole lot, but the times we have, it has been fun! talk to me about anything anytime. you seriously seem like a hell of a time.
