Yeah.... so, I guess I’m a little slow. #InternationalSlothDay was yesterday and I am just now posting about it. Fun #AnimalFact: On average a sloth moves 6-10 ft/min. At top speed, that’s 600 ft/hour! 🇫🇷 Aujourd’hui, c’était la grande envolée. Après deux mois de soins à la maison, Edith, la petite tourterelle tombée du nid, a retrouvé sa liberté, sur le lieu de sa naissance. Je ne cache pas que la voir partir vers sa petite vie d’oiseau libre a été (égoïstement) un déchirement. Mais désormais elle pourra voler sans entrave. Bonne chance, boule de plumes, et peut-être à un de ces jours, qui sait ... 🕊 🇬🇧 Today was D-day. After two months recovering at home, Edith, the baby dove I found fallen from her nest, was finally ready to be released, near the place "she" (maybe he, I’ll never know) was born. To be honest, see her flying away was (selfishly maybe) so sad for me. But it was important to let her be free, as a wild bird should be.
