◤ This world is s cruel, victors only survived and those that had been deemed weak would only slowly become prey. To add on to the ruelty, it seemed as if some people had the chance to live in color while others would never be granted such permission. There wasn't much to do but go about with the limitations that had been set in place for humanity.
For the young man, he saw no point in fighting over trivial things such as 'color' no, he knew strength and surivival must come first. After the fall of Wall Maria, Eren paid no mind to those that would look at him mentioning all his features in vivid details something he could not fathom.
Even as a child nestled safely in the confines of his home he was praised for 'emerald' eyes, something he had yet to seen in fact his whole world was still very dull with shades of grey, white, or black. He figured this was how the world was meant to be but it seemed even as his days as a trainee others said that was not so. Who had time though to worry on the mundane when creatures lurked about threatening to devour one whole?
It wasn't until one afternoon, he had watched those in the Scouting Legion return to the Walls from the previous expedition did he learn that the world was not meant to be so bleak. The eyes he had managed to catch in his own gaze where very familiar, so familiar he felt embarrassed! but as he did so he noticed a sudden change of scenery.
Since when did everything become so bright? he even looked around astonished by the sights of the beautiful region hidden behind the massive walls, looking upwards did the brunet then notice the gaze upon him was threatening to burn a hole right through his being. Slowly, he walked up to the man he had been staring at and spoke.
"Corporal? I think something is wrong with my vision" but he could not help to notice the man's icy gaze and steel colored hues that made his heart flutter. It couldn't be, this man before him could not be the reason the world seemed so undying beautiful now but it seemed as if it was so. ◢
