For my 30th birthday, @weakmeatstrongeat gave me a jar of sea glass from her favorite beach in California, because she’d seen me post about my love of sea glass on Tumblr. That was really unexpected and sweet :)

hey sure thing! i don’t think it’s 100% done settling yet because it still cracks sometimes, and also i have a sinus infection right now so it’s kinda nasally & doesn’t sound its best, but i recorded 3 versions of the poem i’ve been using to track it for you. i hope it’s helpful!regular speaking voicehigher pitchlower pitch
this is fascinating actually because now that i play those back i realize that my lowest pitch is not nearly as deep as i thought it was. it’s gotten a LOT higher in the last 3 months; in october it was unambiguously male-passing and now i think it’s kinda iffy, but i can’t really provide an objective analysis so idk. i’m pretty sure my normal voice is fairly androgynous though? let me know what yall think
