it’s the one year anniversary of pirates heart by @not-close-to-straight n i just wanna say that
1. it’s been a fucking long ass year and
2. it’s one of the best, if not the best fanfictions i’ve ever read, the story was incredible, just the right balance of everything (sweet moments, *sexy* moments, tension and action and humour), it’s really well written, you can see all of it in your mind without the setting descriptions being ridiculously long, reintroduction of characters that we know from the mcu but pirate-ized and we get their backstories without it being slowed down/clumsy and they get character arcs that really come full circle at the end, it could have very easily become just a rehash of im1 but gayer but while there’s plot elements from im1, it’s pretty much it’s own story that’s incredible to read
(i’m so sorry the “art” is trash, i wanted to do smth bc it’s such a good story but...)
