@awesomekellyworld: I like that version)) What about a boy version?
Jo wanted a family but knew Lucifer had no interest in children. It was one of the sore spots they rarely spoke about. It was discussed, between the muns, that if Lucifer and Jo had a child, a girl would probably be the best way to get him to emotionally connect and interact. That little girl would have him wrapped around their finger in no time.
In fact, Lucifer wouldn’t touch the child for the first two months of her life. While he did wake and take care of whatever Jo needed, being supportive, fetching things, he didn’t physically interact with Adira at all. He obsurved, but refused to take part -- Often escaping to LUX or burying himself in a case with Chloe to keep out of the flat. All of this was mostly due to self hatred as well as the fact that Adira was another divine “gift”, and we all know how Lucifer reacts to gifts that are forced upon him.
What made him change? Whispered conversations with Jo, many sessions with Linda and finally a very important conversation with his brother, Amenadiel. Amenadiel was the deciding factor.
Considering Adira was the only child ever discussed in being created, a boy was never brought up.
