Found a random notebook (I lose track of them all the time because I have too fucking many) and got SO EXCITED because it was green but THEN

IT WAS WAS A FUCKING MOLESKINE

Past me had even circled it aoshwhwjwiw

Somehow this one survived the Great Moleskine Purge of 2023

Reminder that Moleskines are overpriced trash (at least in the US) and I don't know why I thought maybe this time it would be different lol

Went with the orange, and this nib is incredible! Granted, it doesn't seem to love my Clairefontaine paper, but on Midori and Leuchtturm it was smooth as butter and super juicy. Perfect with some Iroshizuku fuyu-gaki!

So I tested the paper in my new notebooks just to see if the pen would bleed through--to see if I'd have to go back to using pencils after so long using pens--and.

Holy shit.

The paper is so thick. I love it. 

Now I just gotta not let myself get upset over the wonderful bindings so that the notebooks don't try to close on themselves while I write in them. 

Part of the reason I avoided notebooks and journals bound like that as much as I could. 

Damn the leather journals being too damn pretty for me to ignore.

(Not really. I may be in love with them.)
