Recently had a blast in London with some lovely Strikophiles. Took lots of pictures and thought I would share here the ones where I can remember why I took them. 😂 I will add book quotes as time permits. Please correct me if you think I am wrong because it was a full day.
Five at a time, in no particular order, here we go ...
Bedford Street, Liz Tassel's office
Strike goes here in The Silkworm:
"Elizabeth Tassel's literary agency lay in a mostly residential mews of dark brick, a surprisingly quiet cul-de-sac off busy Gower Street. Strike pressed a doorbell beside a discreet brass plaque." The Silkworm, Chapter 8
Notes Cafe
Where Strike and Robin meet in Troubled Blood:
"Forty-five minutes later, Robin entered Notes cafe, which lay in St Martin's Lane and was already crowded, though it was so early in the morning. Wooden tables, some of them as large as the one in her parents' kitchen in Yorkshire, were crammed with young people with laptops and businessmen grabbing breakfast before work … she headed for the back of the cafe, where Strike sat reading The Times beneath an iron chandelier that resembled a large spider … and Robin felt a wave of liking simply for the way he looked." Troubled Blood, Chapter 16
Soho newsagent
Strike buys a Tatler here in TV The Silkworm so he can read about Charlotte's wedding. (May as well follow her on Facebook while you're at it, mate. 💔)
The Swiss Clock, Leicester Square
Strike finds Billy Knight near the clock after hearing the chimes in the background of their telephone call, in TV Lethal White.
Rupert Court
This is where Robin leaves flowers for Kara Wolfson in TV Troubled Blood. (No, you're crying!)
