Enjoyed spending some time with these cool young folks at the Boys and Girls Club in Denver. So grateful to @tjguardino for inviting me to come be a part of his @notesfornotes program that day! It’s been a while since my near entire audience was kids! I was actually nervous because I wasn’t fully sure what I said YES too! 😃🎶 But they were so fun and receptive! Afterward, a lady working there told me that during the Q&A portion, the girls in the room only asked questions of me but no girls asked any questions of the guy who shared music that day. We talked briefly about the importance of girls seeing womxn in various roles to realize they can do it too. Just felt so lucky to be that woman that day!
