It was going to take so much time to adjust to this new land - Storybrooke - and Tink wasn’t always the most patient person. At least in Neverland, things were familiar, and she knew how to cope to survive. That wasn’t true for this land, at least not yet. Magic could only do so much, and she had to rely more on wits, which suited her, since she’d been without magic for so long. It was interesting, as well, to see people she’d truly believed she would never see again.
With everything going on, though, she hadn’t done much as far as socializing yet, preferring to be in solitude as she tried to process everything, tried to learn new things. Granny’s Diner had quickly became a favorite refuge for her, and she found herself there every morning and evening, typically alone. That was her only routine, and everything else she did on a daily basis tended to be influenced by whatever mood she happened to be in that day.
Today, the countdown on her timer would reach its end, and she was nervous, spending most of the morning just walking near the forest’s edge to expel her anxious energy. By the middle of the afternoon, she’d wandered down to the docks, spending nearly an hour there just watching as the sun began to set. Then, she stuffed one hand in her pocket and made her way back to the center of town. While she walked slowly, she kept her eye on the countdown, and drew in a sharp breath when it reached zero. Standing in front of her was a familiar face.
“Lina?”
out of hope; All right, my lovelies, I am heading to bed. I have four lovely prompts for the soulmates meme to work on and post for tomorrow, and I promise I'll get to those. It was a long day, and I want those to be perfect, so I need to sleep on it first.
As of right now, I also owe replies to:
