b u t a l s o j u s t i m a g i n e : kenn not being as tied down to the town bc of it. actually going to college on time instead of taking a gao year. more focused on her witch powers and such than ‘wtf is this not relationship but definitely relationship i managed to tangle myself into’. later on meeting a nice human or witch and dying at an old age ! and not ! becoming ! immortal !

okay look legit S A M E. also like my dorothy's been around since season one ? like she was picked up during the curse & stuff so we should def like plot their friendship & future relationship bc im hella sucker for slow burn

          ( I AM HELLA IN FOR THIS. i just ... i REALLY hate how ooc they made ruby for the sake of the ship ( having her tell everyone and their dog -- literally -- that she ate her boyfriend, like it doesn’t still gut her?? like it’s no big deal???? what the actual fuck. having her fall in love in .5 seconds after she’s kept almost everyone at arms length since the curse broke -- hell, even BEFORE that ). i know it’s a fairytale and love happens fast but ... it felt forced and i just ... i would have been MORE than fine with it if there had been some development -- more than a freaking episode worth. the way they wrote it, mulan rouge/red warrior would have made more sense. they wouldn’t have had to develop it as much because we knew they’d been traveling together, and i could have been on board with some flashbacks to their travels and culminating in them becoming an item.

          i read some of your info when i followed you, and i’m def in for plotting! )

[ i mean, it definitely had it’s badassery moments. i rewatched it like a year ago i think after finally buying the dvd & i had forgotten how slow the plot moves at times. granted, it was a mini-series on scifi on a low budget, so for the money put into it, it’s great !!! ]

{ man, i want so hard to agree with you--because really, on the budget and the timetable they had, it’s a good movie!--but it’s like...the plot is soooooooo slooooooooooow, and it keeps getting derailed by deschanel’s spacey acting. she’s like. a wooden cut-out of herself for most of the film. it’s irritating, especially when it’s obvious that everyone else in the project put some real heart into what they were doing! i just keep imaging what that film could’ve been like if they’d cast someone else as dg. like...can you imagine it with neve campbell? or maybe she’s a little too old, too dated. what about alexa vega? she was about the right age at the time. or shoot for the stars, imagine emma watson with that part! basically anyone but zooey.

but it’s a very creative reimagining and even if the world building’s a little spotty at times, it’s impressively arched and layered in such a way that the you don’t feel the holes until you really start trying to think through it, at least in my opinion. :) }

{ Okay but really. The trailer makes it look so badass! I’m like, “Do I need to rewatch it? Did I miss something?” ‘Cause I remember it being alright, like, even pretty good at some points, but I don’t remember it being so badass! XD }
