As nice as free college would be…what it actually means is it will never be free, through extremely higher taxes you’re not only going to be paying for your education, but people who did not and will not work as hard as you did to get to college. College should be an investment for your future, not an entitlement. Also it will weaken the value of a college degree, forcing everyone to go back and get a masters just so they have a shot of being ahead of everyone else. Socialism doesn’t work people. You can’t make a country greater by punishing the successful people for those who do not want to work as hard, because if everyone is even then no one will feel the need to work hard. There should be tax cuts for the poor and the middle class, but not so much that people can get by with not doing anything and living off of what hard working families make.

"The Democratic Party: A Summary The Democratic Party is the lightning rod of discontent. It adapts itself to radical movements more readily than the Republicans. It bends. It is flexible. And one of its main functions is to prevent the formation of a genuine people's party, a party that would express the interests of the working people, of the oppressed people's, and of all the sectors of our population interested in peace and fundamental social change. (Not shown in image) And so it accepts reform --as much as necessary but as little as possible -- in order to calm the people's anger, to coopt the people's leaders, and ride out the storm until the crisis has passed. It then gradually curtails those reforms and cuts back programs in the people's interest." -Joe Kaye, The Crime of Impunity, The Crime of Punishment
Controversial Post!!!!!
Last week, after Super Tuesday number three drew to a close, I was feeling particularly down in dumps. With Hilary Clinton sweeping in the 5-state contest, and Trump surviving another week, I was feeling politically drained. I also knew that I had to post on Facebook page. So, at two-thirty utilizing my phone and newfound nihilism, I made a post proclaiming my secession from both the Bernie Sanders campaign and the Democratic Party as a whole. At first, the only comments I got were from a friend and my uncle telling me to go to sleep. Fair enough. The next day, however, when I woke up, my post was filled with comments. Some were from my liberal friends, urging me to vote regardless of who came out in the Democratic primary. Others came from my family, telling me to think more about my decision, while some others came from my independent friends agreeing with my opinion. People who have never seen or talk to each other suddenly began discussing, agreeing, disagreeing, arguing, all because I posted some stuff on my wall to get attention. I came to find this phenomenon very intriguing, and was looking forward to seeing how far it could go. But unfortunately, as quickly as my comment section lit up, the comment stream slowed to a complete stop within a few hours. My post had officially died. I was crushed. But, looking back on it, I am glad this happened. By doing this, it allowed me to get a glimpse at what a genuine mess Facebook can be.
Looting the middle class because that's where the money is
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
