This is how crazy I find supporters of 50 Shades. I just can't pardon it. Not in any way. Yes, fandom should be fandom. BUT, 50 Shades portrays Ana as weak, naive, and forgiving towards a man who's abusive and violent. It's fanfiction masquerading as original work and if a piece of fanfiction was going to be made into a movie/tv show it should be something worthwhile. Like GoddamnHella's work or Batsutousai's. That's just how I see it. And there are plenty of people who agree with me. 

Moreoever, this is what the girl on Twitter tried to say in response to me saying she didn't understand what the books were about. She said 'I do, handsome rich man swoops college woman off her feet. Happens all the time, not just in fictional books. No crime committed.' As if. I had said that Grey harassed her and isolated Ana from her friends/family. If that's the kind of response that fans of the movie give, it's no wonder people who like the books get in trouble.
