Hope stared at the at the words, “Beyond Imagination Charity Gala”, in big block letters, and listened to the sound of the wooden clock ticking on the stand above the fireplace . She carefully read and re-read the sheet of paper, searching for suspicious sounding words or possible messages hidden in between the lines. Her eyes briefly glanced up to see that Hank had just finished instructing Scott on their next mission.
❝ I couldn’t find anything, but I was able to snag an invitation. ❞ she turned her attention towards Scott.. ❝So what do you think? ❞

❝Oh calm down, it’s not that bad, Scott.❞ She winced slightly as she felt a sharp pain shot up. ❝Ok fine. Where’s the first aid kit?❞
“whose blood is that?”
hurt meme ● accepting !!
❝I think some of it’s mine. Don’t worry about it, it’s not that deep.❞

It took longer than Scott would ever like to admit for him to realize that there was something very wrong going on. While using the Ant-Man suit, he’d gotten dizzy, passed out, woke up, and that was it. It wasn’t unusual for heavy use of the suit to cause him to black out, so he just figured he’d take a nap and report it to Pym when he got the chance. It wasn’t until Scott found that his apartment wasn’t his apartment that it dawned on him that something wasn’t right.
After that, it didn’t take much more research to find out that he was definitely not in Kansas anymore. References to buildings, organizations, events, and so much more littered every newspaper and article he read. He could even see the difference when he really took the time to look at the city around him. Now that he had a vague where he needed a how. How was he supposed to get home?
The answer came to him when he found that there was another Scott Lang in this alternate universe, and it seemed like he was Ant-Man, too. The organization he worked for was something called the Future Foundation, but the important fact was that this Scott was a hero, and that meant his story would probably be a little more well-received than if he wandered up to the Avengers.
Finding out where to find the alternate Scott (the Alt-Scott, if you will) was the easy part. Convincing the people at the Future Foundation to let him see the Alt-Scott was an entirely different story. He was, after all, just a random guy off the street, but eventually Scott managed to spin a tale about it being an incredibly important, and private matter involving Alt-Scott’s family, it was eventually agreed that they would see if he was willing to come down and listen.

"Well, this'll be an experience."
“You’ve got that right.” Casey raised a hand, taking a deep breath as a flame burst to life in her hand. “Are you sure about this? I’ve only trained with Stephen.”
