I can't wait for the full Hamilton mixtape to come out. Usher was such a perfect choice for wait for it, and immigrants was such a well needed addition knaan and riz mc are such brilliant choices, just A+ casting and choices lmm, I continue to be surprised and the studio recording has been on repeat for me since it I listened to it last year, so I can't wait for more material to nerd over

Mind Tap

Maybe I should have explained to you that I spend a good portion of my life writing poetry about random things that have nothing to do with nothing. Yes, you are in my thoughts, but my  words never accurately reflect perfectly my truth, or even the voice I hear whispering in my ear the things I need. 

Snakes hissing, the sound of water rushing in the rain gutter, tonight is silent background noise, the cricket chorus singing tunes of olden days, before I tapped this vein of truth.

When I tap it, I am one with God, supremely connected to a single truth, chorused like blades of glass, forming a green blanket, a solid backdrop where you and I run for cover.

Lets snuggle under the blanket, and you can tell me what I need to do to soothe your sorrows, I can hold you close or I breathe you in and out of me, let your vapor course through me.

Sometimes after I've hit reblog a few times, I look at my blog and think: This is the most random shit.
