Basically it all comes down to this:
Will's personal arc includes thinking he's not going to find love because of his sexuality, therefore we need to see him experience a romantic relationship for the first time, or the show would just be proving him right
The show has been building up his feelings for Mike for multiple seasons, to the point where he's deeply, unconditionally and selflessly in love with Mike (and there is no other character that could be his love interest in S5 anyway)
So, either Byler is endgame, or the show is -intentionally or not- homophobic. It's that simple. And this show has proven time and time again that it is very anti-homophobia, so... whether you like it or not, there's really only one conclusion that would make sense here.
Shower thought: if we had every principal/1st cover combo in the history of Operation Mincemeat do a 3-legged race up stairs, which duo would be the most/least successful? Most chaotic?
Currently in that part of the Golden Fool where Jek appears and drops a huge (huge to Fitz I mean) reveal to Fitz and then he doesn't know how to trust the Fool anymore and gets mad and all that. Which is stressing me out bc I hateeee the idea of them fighting.
But! I'm not too worried bc there's still one more book in this series AND a whole other series with them. So I'm pretty confident that they will solve this.
Another But! I don't trust Fitz to solve any type of emotional situations well or rationally so that definitely scares me. I honestly have zero trust in that man.
