pickpocketing darcy is so cute omg. I love the newsies very jokingly tormenting him and bill by swiping (insignificant/invaluable) things or throwing them off with their language/actions/general hyperactivity and roughness while bill and darcy watch utterly bewildering and trying to keep up

I also lost it at the apple thing because it’s so :(( in mine they only stole one and still gave it to tommy boy despite showing it off to each other and being so pleased with it. these boys truly care about each other so much, unable to leave someone sad or by himself without letting him know someone is looking out for him
