There’s a lot to be said about AI. Even if artists would be compensated for art used to train AI machines, I still have my doubts. One does not live life just to reach death. A life needs to be lived. Similarly the creation of a work of art is a journey, that would become pointless if clicking a button gives you an end result that is completely separate from any feeling, skill or experience from a creator. That being said, since AI is here now, let’s at least make it fair for artists. @loisvb worded things very clearly and let me quote her post: I wholeheartedly support the ongoing protest against AI art. Why? Because my artwork is included in the datasets used to train these image generators without my consent. I get zero compensation for the use of my art, even though these image generators cost money to use, and are a commercial product. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Musicians are not being treated the same way. Stability has a music generator that only uses royalty free music in their dataset. Their words: “Because diffusion models are prone to memorization and overfitting, releasing a model trained on copyrighted data could potentially result in legal issues.” Why is the work of visual artists being treated differently? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Many have compared image generators to human artists seeking out inspiration. Those two are not the same. My art is literally being fed into these generators through the datasets, and spat back out of a program that has no inherent sense of what is respectful to artists. As long as my art is literally integrated into the system used to create the images, it is commercial use of my art without my consent. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Until there is an ethically sourced database that compensates artists for the use of their images, I am against AI art. I also think platforms should do everything they can to prevent scraping of their content for these databases. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Artists, speak out against this predatory practice! Our art should not be exploited without our consent, and we deserve to be compensated when our art is exploited for commercial use. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #createdontscrape #notoai #notoaiart #notoaigeneratedimages #noaiart https://www.instagram.com/p/CmOrjqPso3i/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
The artist "Elite"
Here's another way to look at the "elitism" we artists are accused of:
Person 1: picks up a sport and practices for years until they become good enough to be called an "elite athlete" -> gets revered and makes big money.
Person 2: picks up art and practices for years until they're good enough to be called a "professional artist" -> gets accused of "gatekeeping" and has their job killed by AI tech bros who make millions off their art without consent.
Anyone can play a sport recreationally but if they want to be "elite", they have to put in the work. Anyone can make art but if they want to be a professonal, they have to put in the work. All AI tech bros want is to make money off artists. They don't care about art or about empowering anyone.
Artstation -> AIstation
The cold hard fact about Artstation and AI is that it's all about MONEY. Were it not about money, they wouldn't be fighting so hard for it. If AI promptists loved art so much they'd pick up a pencil and learn to make their own art. I'll keep making art no matter what.

⚠️CAUTION⚠️
*This page is going to talk about AI generated critics.
This is NOT bad language, but it is very important...
Please understand....🙏*
Hello!
I’m really really upset.😠
Even though many people don’t like the art, which was created by AI tools, ve been not trying to abolish it yet…
I can’t believe that the AI art has been spreading on the internet…😣
It’s just mocking artists who created by taking a long long time.
However, AI can easily to draw out pictures it’s just only a few minutes…😥
Why AI can be evaluated the task by creating shorter than human task who has been done with their try and error?
I’m unacceptable….😔
Unfortunately, AI technology still recommended…📱
Therefore, we should only protect our arts from invaluable machines produced arts...
Now I introduced the AI detector. Before giving following or badges, I’ll check it through the website.
When you tell a lie, I can break your fake art immediately.
Moreover, I created the AI warning GIF. If I assumed that your art was doubtable, I’ll send you it on your comments.
Of course, I allow other NO-AI artists to use this material. (You can download from this page free of charge.) (Please refer to Page 2)
In reality, there’re still a lot of AI created sources in the world.
But my hope is that you need to know the real-life.
Please consider what is your really valuable creative things…
Otherwise, I feel sad….😥
Please think again for preventing in AI ruling!!
(Or dying real artist!!)😒🤖
