Went on a date and got a little dressed up (actually put more than two seconds thought into it, wasn’t the biggest thing ever tbh) and shit with The Boyfriend and we ended the night in a pizza place with milkshakes and I had very Vincent and Lovely vibes I cannot lie

One time Lovely accidentally scraped and knocked out the side mirror of one of Vincent’s most prized cars.

They were simply backing out of the parking lot when they heard the noise and before they knew it, the crisp red of the body was scratched white and the side mirror was knocked out of place, now hanging from some wires.

Lovely felt terrible. Their heart dropped to their stomach. It must cost thousands to repair, even more, perhaps, considering the fact that this car was a limited edition model from a prestigious maker.

And because of their stupid careless mistake, they ruined it.

Hands shaking, they called Vincent to come over. It wasn’t too far from town, and Vincent was nearby for work anyway.

They crouched on the floor, wiping their tears as they waited for him to arrive and see the damage for himself. They didn’t know how he’d react. He didn’t say much on the phone to give his emotions away.

Lovely was scared.

It wasn’t long until Vincent arrived, and with each step towards them they felt their heart beat faster, watching him with teary eyes as they awaited his disappointment or even scolding.

His eyes laid on the car, lingering over the damage, and then met theirs.

Lovely braced themselves for the worst.

Until Vincent smiled and gathered their trembling form into his arms.

“Oh, Lovely.”

He kissed the crown of their head.

“I’m glad you’re safe.”

“The car isn’t though.” They sniffled.

“These things happen. It’s okay. It was an accident.”

“How much do you think it’ll cost to repair?”

“That’s not important-“

“It is! I’ll pay you back-“

“Lovely.” He kissed them on the lips, effectively shutting them up as he calmed them down. “It was an accident. I know you didn’t mean to. And you don’t need to worry about repairs, I have more than enough funds to cover this.”

They looked up at him, tears running down their cheeks, guilting eating away at them.

“I’m so sorry.”

Vincent cupped their cheek and wiped the tears away with his thumb.

“I’m happy as long as you’re safe, and this car did its job in protecting you. I have many cars. I can replace them wherever I like. But I can’t replace you.” He kissed their cheeks.

(Nowadays Lovely has the reflexes to avoid any accidents on the road or in parking lots, but they both look back on the memory fondly. The car is still their most used today)

On the topic of Lovely and Stranger(?) (I think that’s their name), do you guys imagine them as the same person or as different people appearance-wise?

For me, they look pretty similar but there are differences between them, such as hair and eye color, hair length, and some diff facial features.

For the Fooliverse versions of them tho, they look way more identical, with only their eyes being different colors (their hair colors aren’t exactly the same either, but very similar).

But either way, I wanna know how others imagine them. I don’t think Lovely is a reincarnation of Stranger canonically (I haven’t finished Vincent’s playlist so if this is wrong forgive me), so I could understand if some see them as two entirely different people, but I kinda like the idea that part of the reason Vincent was drawn to Lovely is because they reminded him of Stranger, even if only slightly. (ofc Lovely has their differences and stuff that Vincent loves too, tho)
