From my post on my Facebook. From an early age I would here derogatory comments made about non white people, gay people, female and trans gender. I didn’t understand why. I had black and brown friends, male and female. Later on I had gay friends and more recently one of my closest friends has undergone gender affirmation surgery (please excuse my ignorance if that isn’t the correct way of describing). I’ve always had strong female role models in my life. From my Nans, my Mom, my cousins and my best friends. Unlike what some idiots out there believe happens to people like me, I am still a 52 year old, strong minded, confident white hetrosexual atheist male but with lots of cool diverse people who love me and I love them. I have a great life because everyone is my friend until they prove they are not. In light of recent events on social media I’m making it clear to anyone who wants to follow me on here exactly who I am and what I stand for.
