A-hoy there shippers!
Yes it's me. Your local ghost, fanfic writer back from the land of the quiet. 😂❤️
I know I've been missing for a while and I'm trully sorry about that. Quarantine has required more adjusting than I anticipated and with everything that's been going on in the media, a social break was needed in order for me to maintain my sanity.
There's a lot I have to say regarding the state of our society right now. Alot happening at home and around the world that breaks me with every news story that lights up my screen.
As a person who always tries to see the good in people, being brought to a point where you question whether or not humanity is, in fact, inherently evil and simply tamed by rules and fear of punishment, is to feel a heartbreak I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.
But then I come online and through all the bad. Through all the hate and abuse and negativity I'll find a fandom mate who'll give me a word of encouragement. Who will send a heart or ask how I've been and that is enough to reassure me that not all hope is lost. Yes our war against discrimination and inequality, be it race, gender or sexual orientation based (amongst others), has been a long and tiring one but considering the mile stones we've been able to hit over the span of history it's worth it to keep fighting.
We are worth the fight. Because we're fighting for a better world for us. We're fighting for a better future be that tomorrow, next week or 5 years from now.
We're fighting for the right to be human, to be seen and treated as such regardless of our race, gender, sexual orientation, social class or any other aspect that may define us as individuals.
To those who have suffered or are suffering some form of discrimination or those who are afraid. Please know that you're not alone. You have an army behind you. A group of people made invincible by the unification of our differences. By the appreciation of what makes each and everyone of us unique individuals.
You are not alone.
You are not less than.
You are not weak.
You are beautifully, uniquely, imperfectly human. You are valued. You are needed. You matter. You are irreplaceable. So keep your head up. Keep fighting.
Cause you're worth it ❤️
Sending you shippers my love, strength and prayers.
