It’s been a minute (or a few hours)

Every time I think y’all have forgotten about lil ol me I get an AO3 notification proving otherwise. Y’all really are something else.

Quick updates.

Au…is a work in progress. I’m as stuck as an Elephant in quick sand. Have no idea how to move forward. If your beautiful brains have any wishes on what you would like to see. I’m open to suggestions.

Now Saving Grace…don’t hate me but the next chapter is actually done. I just haven’t shared it yet cause…it’s short. And I kinda wanna work on the chapter after that so I’ll have a quick follow up and will hopefully be more consistent for you all.

I’m trying to get back up on my feet. It’s hard. A lot has happened in the past five years and Idk how I’m even standing (Well sitting) here typing this right now. Can literally only be God’s grace.

I hope you all are well. Just wanted to give you all this update. Say that I’m fine. Your comments and love have not gone unnoticed, in fact they are extremely appreciated. I love you all and hope to be back to you all in my best state possible soon.

Writers Block

Writer Struggle Log #8

Let's talk....Smutt.....

A-hoy there shippers. Your fellow shipping enthusiast here has found herself a little....stuck lately. To progress into the chapter for one of my fics I must first get past a steamy scene between the couple but at the moment I have no idea how to progress.

Currently, Barry has Iris on a kitchen counter and their both ignoring a perfectly good plate of hot pancakes (which I feel is a crime but I wrote the scene so I can't really complain now can I?).

However, Idk where to go from here. I don't want to turn it into a foodie smutt with them licking whipped cream or honey or syrup (you get the point) off of each other. Mostly cause those scenes have been done so amazingly before that my awkward self can't imagine trying to give it my own spin.

So what do you think? Should I just have him carry her back up to the room and keep it traditional or have them play they're little game on the kitchen floor followed by some cute "let me feed you breakfast" fluff?

Give a girl a life line here fam, this shipper is drowning.

Please keep going! Your stories are so well written and the ideas are so good I wouldn’t put it past these mediocre show writers towards your talent! They haven’t written Iris or Barry very well for years now, you have the depth and intimacy that WA fans are craving! ❤️

You literally just made my day! I was so upset with that, that I could barely write, so thank you for giving me an extra boost! I definitely will be carrying on, for me, for the stories and for all the shippers who, just like you, still enjoy what my crazy brain has to offer! Writer Struggle Log no.6

Flash Rant!

This always happens and now I'm gonna rant about it!

So there I was, happily catching up on the flash, enjoying my fan girl moments when suddenly the plot line made me freeze!

You wanna know why?

Because it sounded awfully similar to the plot of one of my on hold fics (for spoiler purposes I won't say which one). Now! I've been working on this plot for a little over a year and changed a little to add a few things but now I feel like it won't be a unique surprise anymore and all you shippers are probes gonna think I'm just recycling the show's storyline!

Do you feel my frustration?

I was so ready to scrap my entire chapter and start again but I really really like what I had planned!!!! (Screams in upset writer). So I'm going to push through and stay true to my original plot! Hopefully the difference in scenario might help you shippers dissociate the idea. (Sigh).

Otherwise! I am absolutely loving the build up, though this last episode had me feeling like I was the one losing my mind. Looking forward to what's in store.

No I'm kidding (don't mind my cheesy attempt at being cute). I wanted to let you shippers know that while we're waiting for One Hit West to resume, I'll be updating Au here for anyone who can't read it on AO3 or Wattpad...or just anyone who prefers to have all their fics in one place!

Also, For future purposes [cause I'm not about to start new fics now] are there any other fandoms you'd like me to dive into or ships you want me to explore. Or even one-shot requests (these I might be able to full fill now actually....)Let me know!

My K-pop and K-drama loves have been serving as inspiration so I might be diving into those at some point in the future... (K-drama lovers...I feel your pain with some of these endings, as beautiful as they may be they also hurt like you wouldn't believe...so expect some rewrites....).

Other than that, what else should I look into? I like to explore, it fuels my creative brain! So talk to me shippers! Pweety Pwease???

Greetings from the great beyond...

So it's 5am, I can't sleep and I'm about to sit down and try to get some typing done. However, I'm having a little typing anxiety cause there are just soooooo many fics that need updates.

I've been working on [Saving Grace] for my Sharpwin shippers and for my WestAllen fam I have a bit of a chapter done for [Au] and [The One They Left Behind] (thank you @annacarina2 for the help with my writers block on that one).

That leaves: [One Hit West]; [Light, Camera, Flash!]; and [Tears She Shed] to be updated (I'm not counting Speak Now cause phew...its really just too much, kinda shot myself in the foot there {laughs nervously*})

What I want to know from you beautiful family, is which of the fics is most urgent so that I can focus on it...Is an agreement possible? Is there that one fic that you really, really, REALLY cannot wait to be updated? Please let me know, Cause I really need help. REALLY!
