Just started ExU Calamity :)

I already knew about the ...first character introduction but omg am I excited to watch it for real. I’ll try to not post every 10minutes but like... if something good happens I *will* let you know haha. So like, if you dont want spoilers or you find me annoying, I will tag my post with these : #exuCalamity #notreallywatching #exu Calamity Spoilers #cr spoilers I’ve never like... liveblog watching something as big as Critical Role before (i think?) so i’m kinda nervous so if i do/say something wrong just let me know haha  :) I am so scared Edit: I’m 50min in, the characters so far are so so cool. Zerxus introduction is way more gut wrenching than I previously thought wow. I’m taking a break but so far, i’m really enjoying it :D

Episode 4, i’m like an hour in. Marisha and Lou have been a mood since the start, like I would be on the ground, face to the floor screaming and crying if I was playing that game like DAMN! and i’m 1/6 of the way to the end like it went bad FAAAAST

Episode 1 of Calamity DOOONE!

Characters introduction are always kind of tricky for me? If it makes sense? I really like the characters so far (if i didn't say it enough in all the other posts I did) but introductions don't keep my attention for long (I almost had to take a break for the day after each characters, that's why it took me so long). So after they were done, I was able to keep my attention focused on it for longer! I'm having SO much fun watching it, even if some places or characters' names go way over my head. I just have to nod and be like: "They sound important, are they bad or good? Only watching the episodes will tell haha"

ANYWAY THAT ENDING WAS GOOOD. I'M STARTING EPISODE 2 AS WE SPEAK. I WANNA KNOW MORE.

Anyway, can someone explain to me very quick and simple who this is? Because I don’t dare go on Wiki to look because... you know... spoilers haha. What should I know about this person if I haven’t watched the other campaign yet? I feel left out but I don’t want to get spoiled :((( (Unless it is explained later on the episode in that case, nevermind haha)

The characters introduction are done and so far, these are some really good characters! I like them! Cerret is obviously my favorite... Only because he’s a birb. He’s cool, but he’s 10x better because he’s very much non-human and I like it. My checklist for best character is really weird, don’t ask questions haha. Zerxus had the best intro and his being the first really... set the tone for what is going to happen... later on. I can’t wait!

On another note, I really like how the players+GM are describing things? Everything is very highly detailed and even if I have a hard time imagining what it might look like, everything sounds(looks?) gorgeous! It helps a lot with the atmosphere of the place and i don’t really know what to say... I like it so far!

Idk if you guys expect a big analysis of the story or the characters of ExU:Calamity by me but i'm giving you guys a warning to lower any expectations you might have about me being smart.

It took me an hour, in the middle of Laerryn and Loquatius' discussion, to realize that Avalir is a flying city. You know. The job Laerryn does. To keep the city moving. You know???? I think i heard it was floating but it didnt register in my brain???

So yeah. Don't expect much from me haha

ExU Calamity: FINAL THOUGHTS

Contains SPOILERS for Exandria Unlimited: Calamity 

first off: FUCK YOU BRENNAN FOR MAKING ME CRY SO MUCH /lh. I seriously had to stop the video every 2-3 minutes to cry, wait until i calmed down, then go back to it. MULTIPLE TIMES. Now that that’s out of the way, I really liked this! I’m not used to more than 2 and a half hour of videos so that’s why it took me so long to finish the last episode but i wanted to give this serie a chance and i really liked it. Cerrit is by far the best but like, i’m biased bc i like bird folks haha so does that even count? I, by mistake, already knew what fate was waiting for the characters (meaning i knew who died lol) but still, i’m a very emotional person so this didn’t stop me from crying haha. If i see someone cry there’s a hig probability that I will join them. 

It was a cool experience tbh. I already watched Brennan, Lou and Aabria play before so it wasn’t a complete jump into the unknown and let me tell you, I liked seeing them play, but it was really really cool to watch Marisha, Sam,Travis and Luis play too. Seeing how every one of them play a little differently and it made me “discover” new players (Luis was the only one I never heard of tbh). 

Anyway i’m rambling. I had fun. I wrote this right after finishing the finale but i’m too shaken up still so when you see this i will have had a good night sleep!
