let me just get out my list with reasons your portrayals are so fire -

anyway your portrayals are so on point and I can genuinely picture the characters so vividly through your writing. you put in detail and it shows okay. your writing is simply *chef's kiss*, and i am in awe every time ♡ (stormslady)

@notsodeadmikaelson nile have you ever considered that my writing is the way it is with you largely in part to the immense amount of effort you put in to plotting and character dynamics. we literally exchange entire essays in dms every day and as a result have some of my favourite interactions and dynamics i think i have ever had in my 16 years of this hobby and i must thank you sincerely for that , it is very special. this meme was a trap because i'm using it to compliment you right the fuck back because there is no ' i ' in greatness but there is ' uss ' if you say it phonetically.

         the world had been waiting for this moment with bated breath.  the moment that grand duchess anastasia returned to the world,  further solidifying that the bolsheviks had not completed their job and that the monarchy stood strong.  and yet,  anya  –  no,  anastasia  – felt her heart grow heavier with each footstep.  dmitry had already skipped town,  most likely,  collecting the reward money and leaving for england or america as soon as possible.  she had gotten what she had thought she wanted…  but was that the same as what she wanted now ? 

        clearly,  olga could tell her sister was conflicted.  her words snap anastasia out of her thoughts,  and once the meaning registers,  anya blinks.  “ olga,  you…  you can’t seriously mean… ”  was that her giving permission to try and stop him ?  did she truly approve of her baby sister loving a con artist ?  “ no,  i …  i can’t go after him !  it’s too crazy !  he’s probably already left by this point  –  and i’m not the one leaving him,  he is the one leaving me ! ”

       she’s pacing now,  filled with manic energy in case olga clarifies.  she will run if she has to, to try and stop him from getting on a train or a boat and never coming back for her.  “ it…  it would never work,  olga.  not now.  i thought masha was the one who lived in fairy-tales,  but clearly she was more like you than i thought. ”
