“Yeah…you’re going to have to repeat that” Clara exclaimed, ruffling her hair slightly with the tips of her fingers as she looked at the figure in front of her with a slight confused look, clicking her rarely worn heels together. It wasn’t much like the brunette to miss or even ignore what someone had said, but it seemed in recent events her mind was elsewhere.

notthetindog talktoten "Mickey!" Her voice jumped out at him just milliseconds before she did, and then Rose Tyler had him by the arm, bouncing a little as she dragged him into the flat. His, to be more precise. And if Mickey thought (just for a moment) she was just paying him a surprise visit, he'd have to reevaluate the situation. There were noises coming from his bedroom - towards which Rose was dragging him now - that were very easy to misinterpret. And if any less than pure thoughts came to mind, they'd run screaming soon as Rose kicked (yes, KICKED!) his door open. Inside the room, the Doctor was grappling with something on the floor, the bed obscuring much of it from view. Seemed to be something of a struggle, though Rose wasn't keen on interfering. "Doctor, pretty sure she heard you! You about done!" Without pausing to see if said Time Lord was alright - or indeed, even still alive - she just pulled Mickey through to the TARDIS over by the wall and struggled with the key. "Sorry, Mick, but Mum said no more alien encounters and we had to bring it /somewhere/." When she checked over her shoulder, urgently, it was not towards the Doctor and whatever creature he was wrestling with on the floor, and it certainly wasn't to gauge Mickey's reaction! The low rumble from just outside the entryway lot a match under her heels. "Doctor!" Again, this time with a singsong quality to her urgency. And in spite of Mickey's... Confusion? Protests? Concern? ... In spite of /Mickey/, Rose ducked into the TARDIS and dragged Mickey in with her! Only then did the blonde pause. A flash of a smile. A quick hug before the Doctor ran inside and crashed between them. "You're home early!" Rose chirped, all grins and pleased surprise, despite the terrible rumpus going on behind closed doors.
