⸻ JACOB ELORDI. HE/HIM / have you ever heard of VAMPIRE’S DIET by 3oh!3, well, it describes ARMITAGE ‘TAG’ JACKSON to a tee! the twenty six year old, and TRUST FUND BABY was spotted browsing through the stalls at portobello road market last sunday, do you know them? would you say HE is more snotty or more CAPTIVATING instead? anyway, they remind me of being able to be yourself around the right people, champagne parties on yachts, a constant air of superiority and a deep resentment of the family name, maybe you’ll bump into them soon!
time in notting hill: twenty years (went to a fancy boarding school for five years)
People say money can’t buy happiness, and while that’s true, it could at least fill the void. Of course Tag was spoiled rotten as a child, given everything he could barely dream of, but that didn’t really make up for the fact that there were only a handful of years his actual mother took interest in him as a child. Nannies were employed before tag turned eighteen months and after he was four - there was a short window of time where he was a cute accessory, but it wasn’t particularly long.
Tag’s father started to take an interest in his son around the time he turned ten. The family name of Armitage was passed down to every first born male, and while mixed it up a little by changing middle names so they didn’t get into numerical territory, it still carried a heavy burden. Luckily, Tag seemed to enjoy most of the things his father wanted to show him how to do or bond with him while doing.
The one plus side was the girl who lived a few blocks away - while he often avoided the people who weren't in his neighborhood at the behest of his parents insisting that they would all just use him for his money at status, Willow wasn't like that at all. She seemed genuinely interested in the things Tag had to say or wanted to do, and he found that whenever they spent time together was the only time he could really be himself and not the person his parents expected him to be.
This would also be an unexpected downfall - the Jackson patriarch mistook Tag’s eagerness to have any sort of parental bond as an excitement to learn, and when he was thirteen, he was shipped off to the same boarding school his father attended. While he did learn a lot there - both in education and personal relationships - he was absolutely miserable being away from the family home, his best friend, and the house staff who he spent more time with than his own family.
Coming back to Notting Hill was like letting out a breath you didn’t know you were holding. Unfortunately, he had a much more privileged attitude about him, but Tag was happy to be back home. He often spent time out by the sea, having been gifted his own yacht when he returned and graduated with (faked) perfect grades. He prefers to spend his time dawdling around town, completely disinterested in finding a real job, his entire life funded by his parents.
Tag, while snotty and a little ‘better than you’, is actually very sweet at heart, just a byproduct of the environment in which he was raised. He no longer lives in the family home, having a place of his own but it is entirely funded by his parents. He’s dismissive, but curious, so as long as you put a unique spin on something mundane, he’ll be ready to jump into it with you.

TW: Neglect, Alcohol abuse
Kyra grew up in a single-parent household in Fort Lauderdale. Their mother was anything but attentive, too busy in and out of rehab to pay attention to her children.
The odds were stacked against the Lowry sisters from the start. With an absent father who Kyra had never even met and their mother in a toxic cycle of alcoholism, no one in the town believed they would amount to anything, and maybe they were right about Kyra, but her sister was determined not to let that happen. She did everything she could to give the two of them a better chance.
When Kyra was sixteen her sister was granted legal guardianship of her, and with little to no fuss from their mother, they skipped town leaving everything they knew behind.
At first, it seemed they never stayed in the same place long, looking for the perfect place to call home. Kyra didn't mind, in fact, she preferred their life of adventure. She was always experiencing new things and it bonded her and her sister together in a way they never would have expected.
It had its drawbacks, of course. Kyra didn't get to experience normal things like prom, or graduating with her friends, and she soon lost touch with any friends she had from back home, but she was focused on the positive. She loved the long road trips and the company of her older sibling, and it was kind of nice not having to worry so much about first impressions when she knew she wasn't going to stick around long anyway.
Blame it on her mother's binge drinking, her father's absence, or maybe even her sister for moving them around so much, but it soon became noticeable that Kyra lacked any sort of responsibility that was expected of someone her age. She started to go through hobbies, romantic partners, and even jobs faster than she could get them. It never took long for the people around her to notice her inability to stick with anything long-term.
When her sister was offered a job in Nottinghill she was a little hesitant. It was further than they had ever been, and certainly more permanent than anything she had been offered in the past, but she figured it might be good to plant roots so she took it, dragging Kyra along with her.
At first Kyra was certain this was another temporary situation, but much to her dismay the longer they stay the more permanent it seems. It's not that there's anything wrong with Nottinghill, but it's different from her life in the U.S and Kyra isn't sure how to feel about it. She's spent the past two years they've been here trying her best to settle in and find her place.

Friends or people Kyra has taken a liking to since she has moved to Nottinghill.
Someone who's seen her struggle to find her place here and has taken her under their wing.
Someone older who Kyra looks up to, sort of like a parental figure since both of hers aren't involved in her life and her sister is so close to her in age.
Aquantaintences or people she met in the U.S at some point.

birthday: 3rd april 1996 (26 years old)
gender: cis woman (she/her)
sexuality: heterosexual
relationship status: married(ish) to wyatt hayes ( @pullumtendies )
BASIC INTRO:
sydney was born and raised in london, she’s lived here all her life, she’s the middle child of three. she’s got an older sister and a younger brother.
her father is german and her mother is from the uk, they met through friends, when her father was doing a study abroad year in london and the rest was history.
when her mother was pregnant, they were told that they were going to have a boy. so they picked out the name sydney, they really liked it, but then surprise, she wasn’t a boy.
but they really liked the name sydney, they thought it suited her and so the name stuck. a lot of the time she just gets called syd.
she’s always had a passion for the outdoors and flowers, making little bunches of flowers for family members & loved ones!!
syd decided randomly one day that she wanted to be a florist and she’s stuck with it ever since. now she works as the assistant florist at my little peony, she loves it!!!
when she was ten years old, she locked eyes with a young man across the school playground, wyatt hayes, she was smitten.
that was it, the pair became inseparable, they started out as best-friends and eventually as they got into their teen years, they began to dating.
things got incredibly serious, when wyatt’s parents were murdered, obviously syd stood by him and supported him.
a few years after his parents death, the pair got married, they were very young but neither of them cared, they wanted to do this.
they were happy for a few years until they decided that they wanted to have kids, that hasn’t worked out for them.
they TRIED A LOT but every single attempt was met with nothing, which was very upsetting for the both of them.
syd became depressed, worried that there was something was wrong with her, she struggled to tell wyatt how she felt.
the more they tried, the more arugments enused, more tears, wyatt started sleeping on the couch.
eventually the pair decided it’d be good for them to have some space from each other, so wyatt moved out.
they’ve danced around the idea of divorce but they are still very much in love with each other and she doesn’t want to end things, she doesn’t want to loose him.

BENEDETTA PORCAROLI, SHE/THEY / have you ever heard of AMOUR PLASTIQUE by videoclub, well, it describes FRANCES LAVOIE to a tee! the twenty-three year old, and ENTERTAINER was spotted browsing through the stalls at portobello road market last sunday, do you know them? would you say THEY are more fanciful or more VERSATILE instead? anyway, they remind me of the snap of stretched balloons before they're blown, a wool jumper two sizes too big littered with cat hair and glitter, a one-person waltz down an empty, fluorescent train car in the dead of night, maybe you’ll bump into them soon!
frances came from a wealthy family from montreal, canada, though they would never know it. the start of their story is a tangle of untamed roots; a baby left on the doorstep of an orphanage, who was not crying as the flurry whipped against their soft, swaddled skin, but instead laughing. locquacious and energetic, frances was uninhibited, a sight to see, a bright ray against the bleak, unsaturated conditions of the orphanage. children and staff alike loved her, making even the meanest crack a smile. but it couldn't last forever.
at nine, she was fostered to a family whose underlying intent was for her to take care of their three children. the parents were cruel, not nice people, but the kids were wide-eyed and receptive to frances' antics. her ridiculous, made up stories and her backflips down the hall. she'd slide down stair bannisters and balance precariously on any ledge she could find. she didn't care, or was unable to learn that her behaviour led to punishment, like her world was not the same as theirs.
at sixteen, a circus passed through the city and with the help of incessant begging from the children, the parents allowed them to go. she fell in love with it all, and stayed until closing. at the end of the night, one of the horse tamers allowed them to ride a horse before it was stowed away. frances, buzzing with excitement immediately hopped on and, trying to imitate what they had seen in the performance an hour before, stood on top of the horse's back. the horse whinnied immediately, and she fell hard, breaking several bones. the few seconds were heaven though.
the company, rife with their own internal legal issues and shady dealings, feared that frances would sue. so, they took her. while frances was worried about the kids, she was more than happy to go. no one came to look for her. they quickly became a part of the family, learning everything from clownery to sharpshooting. though, her love remained with the horses and trick riding.
she toured around the world, with investigators hot on the company's tail for malpractice and fraud. frances watched as her co-workers would pickpocket customers like a magic trick, how someone would take another behind a caravan and at the end of it, expect payment. frances absorbed it all like a sponge. she did anything that was offered or asked of her.
the police finally came down on the whole company in london, and shut them down for good. the performers scattered and frances was left to his own devices for the first time in their life. without any sort of i.d and only a wad of cash in their name, they've been struggling by societal standards but are happier than ever.
personality.
guileless and happy to be here, immune to the harshness of reality, and is always in awe by it. yet, somehow drinks too much and smokes too much because it makes them feel so lovely. likes to read a lot by turning to random pages of a book and starting there. is an animal lover through and through. has never been in a committed relationship and falls in love with someone new every hour.

ABOUT.
Name: Alexander George Taylor
Nicknames: Xander, Alex
Age: Thirty-one
Date of birth: 12th May 1992
Birth place: Banbury, Oxford, UK
Occupation: Sales assistant at Forbidden Planet
Romantic/sexual orientation: Biromantic/demisexual
Born out in Banbury in Oxfordshire, Xander’s upbringing was pretty uneventful and quiet. He enjoyed his childhood and had what most would consider an easy time of it.
At ten, however, he was diagnosed with ADHD.
It didn’t change much, but it made him suddenly realise that he was classed as different. His parents continued to tell him that he wasn’t, yet Xander found himself super aware of it.
Once things were a little more under control in his tween years, he developed a passion for drawing, distracting himself from the anxiety in the back of his mind by creating a gaggle of crazy characters —- characters that are still with him to this day.
Most of his school years were spent this way, along with hanging around by the local canal, finding himself fascinated by the boats and the lives of those who lived there. He made it a goal to eventually do the same, even though he knew it was slightly ridiculous.
His next port of call was King’s College London to undertake Film Studies. That was where his obsession with movies really started.
The move was something he found difficult and shortly after starting university he ended up attending CBT sessions and having several visits with a doctor. The suddenly change had caused his ADHD to spiral and the anxiety he’d been attempting to ignore for years was suddenly at the forefront. It didn’t matter that he was in one of the top universities in the country, those feelings of complete hopelessness could take over entirely.
During that period of his life, he struggled to make friends, to find any true connections with anybody.
It wasn’t until he was done with university and trying to find his way in the world again that things changed... quite dramatically, too.
He found a place with a couple of friends and picked up a job at Forbidden Planet on Shaftsbury Avenue ( somewhere he’s been ever since ). Despite being in the city for years, it wasn’t until then he truly felt at home. Finding out who he really was took time.
Xander would walk the tourist spots at night, take in the lights, savour everything that theatreland had to offer.
Several years later he met Zibby and there was an instant connection; he’d never felt so comfortable around someone other than his parents.
It wasn’t surprising that eventually they ended up getting married. He’d honestly never though that would happen for him, but to finally meet the one person who truly understood him changed absolutely everything.
HEADCANONS.
Xander has dreams of becoming a comic book artist. He just needs to pluck up the courage to actually send his work out somewhere first. It doesn’t stop him from filling sketch book after sketch book with ideas though.
He’s a massive fan of classic movies and has an entire wall full of DVD's that he pretty much will watch every night.
Following a weird childhood dream, he now owns a canal boat that’s moored up in Camden. It’s not quite living on a boat, but it’s a step in the right direction.
He’s pretty much t-total these days, finds it makes his symptoms worse, so it’s easier to simply avoid it. Special occasions are always fair game though.
Every now and again he’s been known to stream the Sims 4 on twitch.

BRYAN DECHART. HE/HIM / have you ever heard of I Am Easy to Find by The National, well, it describes BRADLEY REID to a tee! the thirty-two year old, and GRAPHIC DESIGNER & WEB DEVELOPER was spotted browsing through the stalls at portobello road market last sunday, do you know them? would you say HE is more RESENTFUL or more CONSIDERATE instead? anyway, they remind me of smoke clouds in the air, leather jackets, and starry skies, maybe you’ll bump into them soon! [ RAE / SHE/HER / TWENTY-SIX / EST ]
Here are some basics on Bradley and I can’t wait to see what will happen while he’s in Notting Hill!
Bradley Nicholas Reid was born and raised in San Diego, California
He still has a good relationship with his mother, not so much his father. His father separated himself from Bradley and his mom. Bradley has no siblings and was an only child that had no desire for siblings.
Brad’s father has not kept contact with him or his mother. Also, Brad doesn’t expect to ever talk to or see him again.
He has very good relationship with his mother, and she has since remarried after Bradley graduated high school. He’s been incredibly supportive of her relationship with another woman and would never wish to see her unhappy.
His love for art came from many art shows he remembered watching on the TV as a child (Bob Ross being a huge inspiration). He taught himself the basics of Photoshop when he was in computer class and often got himself in trouble because of his love for the hobby that would one day be his career.
During his last year of high school, he applied for three art colleges with the hopes of getting accepted into his first choice, California College of the Arts. (He then pursued his passions there.)
He managed to stick with them for three years and successfully graduate with a graduate degree of design.
He currently is an independent artist and web developer and has a lengthy list of clients that use his work and he still has his books open for new projects.
For him, he wanted to see what else existed and London was a place on his bucket list that he wanted to go to, but ended up loving it so much and moving there.
He has been here for at least five years and would like to see where it takes his life.
Random Headcanons:
Prior to moving to West London, he was living with one of his close friends from art college, but he knew they weren’t going to stop mooching off of him and his stuff so he took off and left them behind.
Photography is another art form he loves, and he owns quite a few different cameras.
Bradley has one cat named Whiskers and he’s about three years old. He rescued him from an animal welfare shelter and has loved him ever since.
The TV trope for him came from the fact that in even the worst of times, he would always find a way to find a light to get through it. He’s uplifting and wants to help others.
The genre of music he listens mostly to is indie alternative.
In his free time, you might find him at an art museum, at a nearby coffee shop enjoying a nice refreshing iced coffee, or even in his apartment just thinking of ideas for his next projects.
He loves sunrises and often finds himself taking short walks to watch the beauty of them in the morning. He’s a morning person.
If anyone wants to plot or wants to have a connection, feel free to send me a message! I will eventually add more to this later!

time in notting hill: one year
Dealt a bad hand from the start, Finch opted not to think too hard about his childhood. His mother insisted some famous band member was his father, and he spent a lot of time traveling around with her as she followed bands around, often being left in situations where he could have been kidnapped or worse. He remembered vague snippets of a tumultuous life before he was suddenly alone, unsure of where his mother had gone, or if she was even alive.
Entering the foster care system was not easy; Finch had a lot of attachment issues, and was fussy for much longer than one would expect someone his age to be. Most foster families weren’t exactly willing to take in such a difficult kid, and that’s how he wound up in a group home and met Copeland.
The two were kindred spirits, in a way; while all Copeland wanted to do was read and focus on school, Finch just wanted to listen to music. The two often spent time in the same room, her reading and him with large headphones on, just enjoying each others quiet company. School was annoying, but he pushed through it despite it all.
Tannen was a huge wrench in Finch’s world, disrupting the one attachment he felt he could rely on, and while he wanted Copeland to be happy, he struggled immensely with the fact that she was changing and snuck out all the time. Needing something to pour his time and energy into, he picked up guitar lessons, deciding that his calling in life was to be in a band.
When Copeland left, Finch felt his entire world tilted aggressively to the left, upending any stability he had. He soon aged out of the group home and bounced from minimum wage job to minimum wage job, making just enough to afford a place and his guitar lessons, focusing solely on getting good enough to try to audition for a band.
The time without Copeland was hard, and while he didn’t hear from her often - she did try to reach out to him when she could. Clearly Tannen was bad for her, but there wasn’t much he could have said to change her mind. He just had to let things run its course, and while he was devastated to hear that he never had her best interest at heart to begin with, he was glad she was free to be her own person again.
He couldn’t even really tell you how he stumbled across his half brother; it was definitely by chance, but there were odd resemblances; he could see pieces of his mother in him (or maybe it was a reflection of his own features, he couldn’t really tell), and that tipped him down a hole of trying to figure out how he could meet up with this guy and talk to him.
Hearing that Copeland had moved to Notting Hill - the place his potential half brother also lived - Finch spent very little time packing up the few things he owed and relocating, hoping to find the answers he was looking for and relive the better parts of their childhoods by living nearby again.
Finch is a very sweet, albeit awkward guy who tends to form attachments a little too quickly but also get distressed when things change or the feelings aren’t returned. He’s a pretty talented guitarist, though he has very little faith in his own abilities, and still finds extreme solace in music, having extensive knowledge on just about any genre you could ask him about, which is why he got a job at the record store. He’s still on the hunt for Halford Stone, and while he’s not sure if finding him will bring him any real sense of blood family, having Copeland and Addison is as much family as he needs.
